SICK! SICK! SICK!

HHAAAA I had fallen sick since friday.... I have a serious case of bad cough and fever. The irriating part is it makes you feel kinda bored as you cannot do much but laze ard and take plenty of rest....

Friday evening was the funniest moments ever... After deciding to leave work early and go home to rest, I received calls after calls from different people asking me out to enjoy the rest of Friday for e.g.

Go play mahjong with Shuhui and family - rejected
Go out for movie '2046' with Theo - rejected
Go dinner with Thomas - rejected
Go play pool with Simon - rejected

Feels kinda ironic cos with the dawn of weekend approaching and you are all gear up to enjoy it (plus the fact that there is no lack of options to choose from) you came down on a bout of cough/flu/fever that will dampen the rest of your weekend.... SIANZ!!!!!

Well back to my rest *cough**cough*

Poke Poke

Someone poking me to update my blog... so here goes...

Today woke up quite late at about 11+... lucky there was a sort of 'wake up call' from Theo, if not god knows what time I would get up haha.

From there I proceed to journey to PS to meet up with Theo to catch Jackie Chan's new Movie 'New Police Story'. Well it was an entirely different sort of movie from him if you guys have watch his previous works. For the first time there was some sort of plot in it haha... But it was a highly enjoyable movie and I recommend everyone to catch it :)

Next stop, Orchard library. It was my 1st time borrowing books from any known library in the world since my primary school days I think. I picked up 2 books on Oracle and Java. Now here comes the funny part... I dunno how to use the self borrowing machine...(wat a 'lan' techie I am). Ok I got passed to the stage of scanning the books but it did not work... I was lost and had to go back to the customer service... after the nice lady had browsed through her system, it was found that my name is STILL tagged to my old library card (They even know I applied in Jurong library... wah liew!!!). Anyway she put it as lost and I was able to happily proceed. This time it works haha.

Back home I just installed Oracle 8i and Toad into my freshly reformated HDD. still have my other HDD that I RMA on Friday. I posted it in the HWZ thread to see if can fetch a good price, if not I will still happily use it again.

Well thats the weekends for now... Tomorrow gym at Jurong East (Try try see if better than CCK) and later go IMM for some bed hunting hehe.

I'm back (again)

Hi, I'm back to my blog after a long long hiatus. Well I almost forget about it to say the truth. Recently I have hit a rough patch of low morale. It seems that I have lack the drive to do anything and grown lethargic, especially at work.

Going home early at around 6+ - 7pm is something I have grown accustomed to. Gosh that was something weird that I have to get adjusted initially. Guess my parent have started wondering when to cook dinner for me hahaha. Dun get me wrong, I'm not getting any less busier (I still have 2 projects on my hand) but just that I felt my job and the work I do has become stagnated. I lost that extra push behind the back to move forward. Hopefully something will change soon and turn the corner for this current rough patch...
